[News] Neue Rivers of London Comicepisode angekündigt: Black Mould 

Black Mould heißt die neue Comic-Episode der Flüsse von London, die Ben Aaronovitch heute für Oktober 2016 ankündigte. Nach Body Work und Night Witch ist die damit Comic Nummero 3 des Kreativ-Trios Ben Aaronovitch, Andrew Cartmel und Lee Sullivan.

Klappentext Black Mould:

It creeps! It crawls! It ooooozes! Something dark and slimy is dripping through the walls of suburban London. Not usually a police matter but there’s something very weird about this mould. Police Constable Peter Grant and his unwilling partner, Sahra Guleed, soon find themselves knee deep in killer muck! Meanwhile, their boss, Thomas Nightingale, is preparing to do battle against a haunted ice cream van. Good times.

Interessant finde ich, dass hier wie selbstverständlich von Sahra Guleed und Peter Grant als Team (wie schon in Night Witch; jetzt dauerhaft?) gesprochen wird, und als Thomas Nightingale als their boss. Ich frage mich also, wann Black Mould spielt, und ob sie nicht eventuell für den Zeitraum nach The Hanging Tree gedacht war.

Black Mould: Aufbau der Comics

Wie bereits die Vorgänger wird auch Black Mould ab Oktober 2016 monatlich, in 5 Episoden je 23 Seiten als (ausschließlich) englisches eBook/Kindle erscheinen. Nach Veröffentlichung aller Teile wird eine Gesamtausgabe als Print erscheinen. Jede kurze eBook-Episode kostet etwa 3 Euro. Der Gesamtcomic in Din A4 liegt bei ca. 10-14 Euro, erscheint aber erst 3-4 Monate nach Abschluss der kindle-Episoden.

Rivers of London: Was noch erscheint…

Das Finale von Night Witch wurde von Mitte Juli auf Mitte August 2016 verschoben. Der Übergang zwischen den Comics beträgt also gerade einmal einen Monat.

The Hanging Tree wurde auf unbekannte Zeit verschoben; Amazon hat das Erscheinungdatum mittlerweile auf den 21.09.2017 (!) verlegt. Mehr dazu in den News: [Hanging Tree News] [Galgen von Tyburn News]
